I, like many millions of people around the world, struggle with internal self talk. To be quite frank, sometimes I'm incredibly harsh on myself.
Some days are better than others of course, but some days I'm my own worst enemy.
If you're struggling with your own self talk, consider how would you talk to a friend?
Would you throw insult after insult at them when they came to you for help? Would you repeatedly bring up a mistake they made many years ago?
Or would you point out that we aren't perfect, and we're doing the best we can with what we have?
If you aren't talking to yourself like you would with a friend, you're going to remain imprisoned in your own world of internal hate.
Step out. Step up. Hold yourself to high standards, but remember you're human all the same.
