Not my week

I had a no good, dirty rotten, week.

From the global corona virus panic, to being a witness to an armed robbery and losing a beloved dog, and misplacing my debit card while living abroad - it's been a challenging last few days. As I'm sure others can relate.

Compared to the plight of others around the world, my week could be considered a minor bruise, but imaginary "what about" comparisons rarely subdue the range of emotions the human experience holds.

I had a bad week.

And yet if averages are to hold, I have thousands more to go.

A bad week every now and then is to be expected.

No need to sugar coat it. Or mask it with a postive spin.

It was a bad week yes, but a new start is right around the corner.
