Throughout our life, we face countless disappointments and heartbreak.
Some worse in scope than others.
We don't get the job. We go through a tough breakup. We get in a political feud with our best friend.
While some circumstances may require more time to heal and move forward, the 48 hour rule is often incredibly helpful when facing heart break of a smaller degree.
Give yourself 48 hours to feel down, feel sorry for yourself, then turn the page and move on.
Not always easy, but when you build the habit, it comes in handy more than you might think.
