Why I Write

by Bud on January 20, 2012

I write because I was born to.
I write because it guides me.
I write because I’m an artist that paints with words.
I write because I’m scared.
I write because I’m searching.
I write to get lost.
I write to be lost.
I write because I’m selfish.
I write for my family.
I write for those who ache.
I write for those who dream.
I write for legacy.
I write for you.

Why do you write?

I write because my heart is full, and writing is my way to bleed.

I write to know what I’m thinking.

I write to be known. I write to know.

I write because it feels good. Sometimes.

I write to connect.

I write to give voice to those without one.

I write in hopes to make some $.

I write to create rooms for people to explore life’s big questions.

I write to play with ideas, beliefs, and philosophies. To explore.

I write..maybe because I want immortality.

I write to create a new world.
I write to bring peace.
