Just to say you wrote a very good and accurate review – i.e. awesome people, very interesting seminar, but not much in the way of breakthroughs to report either. Value for money wise, it cost me about $3500 in all – so I don’t think that’s too good really!

I've been pretty impressed with the Canon and Sony products. They're durable, but a little more expensive. But just be careful, there are a lot of brands today that charge more just because of all the extra useless additions on the camera. Although it is cool to have a camera that can instantly take black and white pictures an all that, there are plenty of free photo editing programs and sites online that can do that for you.
