Travel Update

by Bud on January 12, 2010

I’ve received quite a few emails asking where I have been over the last couple of weeks so I’d like to take a moment to update everyone. I appreciate those who have contacted me over the past few weeks but I ask to please be patient while waiting for a reply, I promise you’ll get one.

I originally intended to do some major blogging work while traveling, but as you’ll find out in my upcoming post on expectations, things don’t always go according to plan. I fully expect to be on a regular schedule no later than January 19th as that is what I begin university again.

As far as my traveling is concerned, my two big trips are done with. I was Shanghai in from December 17th to the 30th and Brazil from the 31st of December until January 10th. With my international travels are complete, I’ll be heading to Las Vegas to complete the tri fecta of trips and attend the Concious Growth Workshop this weekend. I’m really excited to connect with other growth oriented individuals.

I’ll be breaking my travels down into further detail over the next few weeks as the past month has provided me with an abundance of growth opportunities. One month ago seems like ages to me, and if that’s any indication for what the future has in store I’m in for an exciting 2010.

NOTE: One thing I quickly learned is that buying a digital camera might be a good idea. For the past month I mostly mooched off my friends camera’s while traveling, so as soon as I get those pictures I’ll be sure to post them. I’d love to hear any recommendations for a solid digital camera. :)

I hope you have had a wonderful start to the new year and I look forward to whats in store!

I’d really like to visit Asia one day, so it’s cool to see that you’ve been there. Also I admit that I’m a bit envy because I would like to attend that workshop too!

I fell in love with CA last year, so I took a road trip again from east coast to the west coast, and man, was it amazing. San Diego is where I would love to live. I’m planning a move in 6 months.

A digital camera is a MUST. With a couple of memory cards (depends on size) and I recently bought a flip hd cam, which has all these hd vids of us, but I haven’t hooked it up to my hd tv to see how the footage came out.

Anyway, have a lot of fun! Love travelling!

Did quite some travelling myself in fact, it really does effect the blog. Rome, Paris, Vienna, Moscow, Amsterdam, Toronto, then back to Amsterdam… as soon as I get back on track I’ll need to update my readers too. Have fun till the 19th!

Don’t go with an HP, they always fall apart on me. I’ve been pretty impressed with the Canon and Sony products. They’re durable, but a little more expensive. But just be careful, there are a lot of brands today that charge more just because of all the extra useless additions on the camera. Although it is cool to have a camera that can instantly take black and white pictures an all that, there are plenty of free photo editing programs and sites online that can do that for you. I’d shoot for a high mega pixel rating too (5-up). Hope that helps.

Bud!

Great review mate. I was @ CGW too – I think our paths crossed (briefly – I missed a day with food poisoning so I was a bit wobbly for most of it)

Just to say you wrote a very good and accurate review – i.e. awesome people, very interesting seminar, but not much in the way of breakthroughs to report either. Value for money wise, it cost me about $3500 in all – so I don’t think that’s too good really!

Just heard news on pluginid too – good luck with that mate. I like Glen’s writing but I’ve just started reading yours too. If you wanna do swapsies or something on articles let me know. Boom!
