[Perfection keeps a lot of projects from being completed and for that reason I "opened" the gym with full knowledge there are some minor grammar mistakes throughout. I fully intend to correct them as the week progresses so feel free to email me with any obvious or not so obvious errors. Thanks in advance.]
It brings me great joy to finally announce the grand opening of my fear fighting gym. Over the last few months I’ve been hard at work to bring you a resource that goes beyond theory and actually helps you overcome your various fears. At 53 pages this guide isn’t small, but at the same time isn’t filled with unnecessary fluff.
I myself have been paralyzed by fear for much of my life so I know what it’s like to feel stuck. I know what it’s like to constantly lose the battle with fear. And quite honestly, it’s no fun. The sole purpose of this book is to aid you in your own fear fighting journey.
Instead of filling up this page with a bunch of text, I’ve created a short video to explain more about the gym and how it will benefit you. Please take a moment to watch:
The Fear Gym: Your Fears Down For The Count from Bud Hennekes on Vimeo.
[Quick note about the video: I've been hesitant to make videos on this blog because of a certain 4 letter word but figured now would be the perfect time to push myself. Please excuse the poor lighting, sound, and constant fidgiting. I will improve.]
In this guide you’ll learn:
- How to create an A list fear fighting team.
- How to deal with setbacks
- How to use the process of journaling to give you an edge in your battle
- Why everyone is scared
- The importance of getting outside your comfort zone
- How I overcame my fear of starting a blog
- Various exercises that will help you in your fear fighting journey
You’ll also hear from some amazing guest trainers such as David Crandall, Maren Kate, Johnathan Mead, Srini Rao, Mars Dorian, and Henri Junttila.
Now it’s no secret that most gyms out there cost a lot money. Many gyms cost twenty to thirty dollars monthly. I’m not a big fan of gym membership fees, and for that reason I’ve made the fear gym absolutely free. The only thing I ask is that you fully commit yourself to the exercises in the book.
As I mentioned in the video, the guide is broken down into 10 different rounds. Each round will build on the previous round to ensure that you’re you’re making progress in your journey. It is very important you complete each exercise before you contiune on. No skimming or cutting corners.
Because I take great pride in my gym, I am here to help you every step of the way. Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns you may have.
