It’s been about a month since I’ve been “back” here at A Boundless World and things seem to be going rather smoothly. I’ve been pleased with the progression especially as I’ve been working 40 hour weeks and taking two college courses online. 8 posts this month puts it at the third most active month since the site began which is pretty nice.

I’ve been pleased to hear how many people are glad that I’m back home and writing in my unique style. Quite honestly, I’m amazed at how much I was missed here, and knowing this keeps me humble.

One thing I’m hoping to accomplish here over the next few months is becoming more focused in what I write here at A Boundless World. That being said I’m looking for a nice tagline to go along with the A Boundless World theme. As of right now I have a few ideas but am really liking “A Boundless World: Breaking Limits of Marketing, Relationships, and Life.” Though I’m open to reader suggestions. I want to keep my focus a bit broad but at the same time I don’t want to be going all over the place.

This year I expect my online “business” to finally begin to take form, so I’ll be sure to share those experiences along the way. I’m also hoping to tackle some more in depth topics such as spirituality and relationships something I haven’t been able to do much of yet. While I’ll be running an occasional list post, my aim with this site is to go beyond just “tips” and have deep thought embedded within my words.

I’m intend to push myself as a writer which as you may know, involves taking risks and trying various styles. You may have noticed I’ve had a few very short, but powerful posts this past month along with an occasional lengthier one. When all is said and done I know you’re looking for value and I hope to provide that for you.

One thing I’ve also noticed is that I’ve been missing in action as far as commenting on other people’s blogs. This isn’t something I’ve done intentionally it just hasn’t been my main focus. I enjoy seeing up and coming bloggers see success as much as the next person and I quite honestly miss some of the connections I had when I was regularly on commenting blogs. I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things in a way that I’m able to connect but at the same time not going overboard.

Also I’ve been working very hard a little something I know you will dig. It won’t cost you a penny so I’m hoping you’ll stay tuned. Hint: If you’ve ever had your ass kicked by fear you might like this.

I’m back. There I said it.

I’ve grown significantly in the past few months and have realized quite a bit about where I want to go and what I hope to accomplish. Coming back home is one of those things.

The position I’m in is an odd one to be sure. I love the community at PluginID but at the end of the day A Boundless World is my home.

The void of not contributing to A Boundless World has been nagging at me for some time. So instead of pretending an emptiness isn’t there, I’ve decided to do something about it.

For the record, I will still be contributing to PluginID with as much fire and compassion as you’ve grown accustomed to. But I will also be laying down the foundation of a new kind of A Boundless World, one that will be around at least 5 years from now.

While I generally hold nothing back in my writing, it’s difficult to share my more intimate stories with the PluginID medium, as I’m not the owner of the site. That isn’t to say I don’t enjoy sharing my thoughts with my audience, or I’m censored in anyway, but there is a block (perhaps subconscious) on what I have to say. Returning to A Boundless World, I fully expect to go deeper into who I am; sharing my failures and successes along the way.

Consistency is one area I’ve struggled with for a while now, and that needs to be addressed. For starters, I will have an article live every Monday and Thursday. As far as promises go, that’s the only one you will get. I want you to hold me to it. My other goals will remain hidden until my actions make them into reality.

Another note, A Boundless World is no longer just personal development. My vision for this site has evolved to something more than that. Hell my vision doesn’t require labels. But if you do decide to stick around (I’m hoping you will), you’ll find a variety of different topics and thought provoking questions to ponder.

I fully intend to test my creative ability with my writing and the way I express myself. So expect for me to change things up every now and then. I want this site to make you think. If I’m doing that, I’m happy.

With that being said, I hope you join me in my return. Together let us explore this A Boundless World. It all starts now.

We are the moon

Last night I was sitting in my room deep in thought, contemplating on what my next post should be about.

Then I received a text.

It was from my girlfriend Fernanda. The text read, ” Bud look at the moon it’s so beautiful.” I quickly looked out my window and was instantly mesmerized with the beauty of the full moon shining brightly in the sky.

A full moon and and human potential. Hm.

I now had an idea for my next blog post.

The moon has been a great source of inspiration to countless individuals and has given hope to millions throughout the history of the world.

The moon is more than a celestial  body in the sky.

Much much more.

The moon represents our dreams, our aspirations, but most importantly it represents our endless human potential.

When we look at the full moon we are astonished at its beauty. Only once a month does it reach it’s full potential and thoroughly light up the sky, but when it does the world truly glows.

We are attracted to the moon because when we look at it we know anything is possible.

We can get our dream job. We can find our dream spouse. We can do anything we want. For a moment we have hope.

You see, the potential in each and everyone of us is endless. What we choose to do with our potential is ultimately up to us.  We are naturally calibrated to glow and to shine, yet our fears and our worries hinder our ability to radiate the beams of our soul.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

We don’t have to live each day showing only a glimpse of our true potential.  We can consciously choose to let the full moon that lay dormant inside of us, shine and light up the world just as the moon in the sky does.

How do you this you might ask?

All we have to do is live.

I realize that truly living is something that can be very difficult to do, after all  there are many  reasons we are unhappy. And by no means am I perfect. I am not perfect, nor will I ever be. But I have a relentless desire to live to the best I am capable of. That relentlessness enables me to move closer to my goal of living a truly conscious life each and everyday.

It’s very easy to get caught up in all the things that are wrong with this world, yet it is our responsibility to represent hope. The only way we can truly represent hope is by living to our fullest potential. Is this easy?

Of course not. But since the pursuit of happiness is what we are aiming for we must live to our fullest potential. We must give. We must love. We must learn. We must glow. That is our true calling.

Yes we will make mistakes. Yes there will be some bumps in our path to happiness. Yes there will be times in which we want to give up. But we must persevere and remember that our purpose in living is larger than ourselves. Our purpose in living is to shine and to grow.

Unleash your full moon potential and light up our world with your love and your kindness.

We can never have too many full moons.

Live and glow today.
