While I do my best to provide unique content from my perspective here at A Boundless World, I also like to occasionally have another blogger voice his or her opinion as well. Last month I featured Ivan Campuzano and today I have the pleasure of sharing with you, Alex of Unleash Reality. I hope you enjoy

Alex, what exactly does Unleash Reality mean?

Unleash Reality means living and expressing your limitless, undiluted potential and experiencing the infinite amazingness of life.

It’s kinda a remix between personal development and spirituality. Punctuated by fresh melodic urban quests and wild adventures that mark my journey to living my dream life.

Although still relatively new, your blog has already developed quite the following. What do you feel is the reason for this?

I think the main reason it’s grown so quickly is related to the “being real” question below in the way that I fully put my personality out there on my site and in my writing.

It’s an attitude of “here I am, take it or leave it”. Not in a bad way, but in the sense that my site is a raw expression of who I am. Sure, some of the ideas I write about are not new, some are, but it’s the way I convey the content and the expression of my somewhat quirky personality that I infuse into my writing that has made it grow so rapidly.

People are scared to be real, especially in their writing, because they’re worried that who they are isn’t good enough. They’re worried to write what they want to write because it doesn’t read the same way as a Steve Pavlina article does or wa’eva and think that they need to edit their personality out.

Dunno ‘bout you, but I like reading articles that take me on an emotional journey, an adventure, you know, the warm fuzzy kind that has a moral at the end, but an adventure nonetheless – my favourite writers make me smile, laugh out loud, frown, sad, happy again, and then teach me a lesson at the end and send me away feeling great.

What advice could you offer to someone who is struggling to “be real”?

Stop struggling

You can’t try to be real.

Trying is seeking to accomplish something and wanting things to be different for the sake of others.

But being real is living for you.

Sure, you will have compassion and love for others and interact with them and consider them, but you’re doing it because it’s what makes your soul smile, and not to make other people like you or because you think you “should”.

Being real tapping into the pure undiluted depths of your being and expressing that life within.

Being real, more than anything, is a deep trust in life. Knowing deep down that everything is going to be okay. When you stop wanting to control everything that happens in your life, including other people, when you relax into the knowing and perfection that you are; and express it, that’s being real.

See, it’s one of those really difficult things to explain. Like dancing. Mainly because being real isn’t about doing anything really. It’s not a doing thing but an allowing for life to flow – being real is an effortless expression of who you are beneath all your stories and judgments and labels and ideas of separation.

You can say what being real isn’t – but trying to define “being real” is limiting something that is limitless expression. Just duddn’t work.

At its deepest level, being real is expressing the life that you are, and that is everyone, you know, that deep perfect connectedness, and letting it shine through you, every moment, unedited and undiluted.

So my advice would be to stop struggling. And every time you do something that feels like you’re “not being real” or feels like you’re wanting something or trying to control what’s going on, just see if you can feel where that want is coming from or feel that resistance, allow it to come up, and then become aware of the awareness in and on which those feelings of want or resistance are arising. And feel the infinite depth of your awareness compared to the tiny emotions that come up. The emotions feel big when you’re focused on them, but what you really are is the awareness. That’ll help you realise that the wants and feelings of being “not real” and the resistance – all that stuff is just a fun little dance, it’s not real and it’s not you – trying to make it real, that’s being not real. So just let it go and allow your true nature beneath all that stuff, allow your deep awareness to shine through.

Yeah, long answer, I know, but “how do I be real” is pretty much on the same level as “what is the meaning of life” so a couple of sentences were required haha.

What is your favorite post for unleash reality and why?

Hmmm.

If I had to choose, I’d say Hate me or love me.

…it’s about “being real” actually, and why it’s such a kickass idea. You should read it. And leave a comment too.

Obviously you have a lot to offer in the personal development field. Where do you see yourself going in the next 5 years?

Awwww shucks. Warm tingly feelings.

Man, it’s a pretty tough question.

On a practical tip, I’d like to see myself living a life of choice, able to do what I want and go on adventures and study and do things that make my soul smile.

But personal development wise, hmmm. In myself, I’d like to be completely free of tension and stress and judgments and bleh.

I just think that people are so… bad to each other. All the time. For the stupidest reasons. Myself included. And I try to catch myself and it’s getting better but I’d like to dissolve the part of me that wants those things to happen and just live free and feel nothing but love for everybody.

And I’d like to live more, experience real life more than my interpretation of it… you know; live in reality instead of in my thoughts and judgments about it.

Very hippy sounding, I know.

How has your international experience aided you in your growth as a human being?

Well I haven’t had nearly as much international experience as I’d like.

…but I spent some time in India a little while back.

The place is really wild and beautiful and passionate and crazy and magic and wow.

One experience really stuck out. I spent around two weeks at an ashram, kinda like a temple but where there are like 10000 people living and new people visiting and staying for periods of time from all over the world.

And the whole deal with this ashram was that it was the ashram for this living saint called “Amma” who is also known as “The Hugging Saint”. Basically all she does from like 4AM to 11 at night is she hugs people. People queue up for hours and hours – there are like 10000 people there, 500 new people coming in and out daily, all there to be around this amazing being and get a blessing and a hug. She’s hugged over 20 million people and is recognised as a living saint by the United Nations.

Best hug evar. Really. But more than that, the overwhelming compassion and excitement and realness of the place was life-changing. You can see the pure expression and passion of the people and can see and feel all their and your problems melt into the overall indescribably energy of the place. Oh, the other thing about the place is that it’s not about money, how it stays running is that everyone – all ten thousand – has to help out around the ashram by cleaning or making books or food or whatever.

I wound up taking out the trash for all ten thousand people. A lotta trash. And initially I was really resistant to it and all that but eventually did it and just the scale and energy and aliveness of the people and especially of this amazing being, Amma, and the whole dance of all these feelings, it just makes you realise how insignificant your story is and yet at the same time you’re in the middle of the jungle right on the coast of the-middle-of-nowhere in India and you realise how amazing life is beyond and behind all your so-called “problems”.

That was the first glimpse of the awesomeness of life that lies underneath all our stories and all that yuck that we call “me”.

It’s well known you’re good friends with Glen Allsopp of Plugin ID. How did you meet him?

Glenny is a really good buddy of mine. He’s gonna get bleak that I’m calling him that but what evs. HaHa.

We met when he first came to South Africa a while back through a mutual friend and had some really mad crazy experiences and adventures together.

Unforgettable times. Best friend for life. He’s a really cool guy, you really should check him out. But don’t call him Glenny. He’ll get bleak. True story.

Any other advice you wish to share with readers who are looking to unleash their reality?

I know that if I answer these questions in two hours, let alone two months, my answers will be different. Mood, feelings, ideas, perspectives – all those things change, constantly… but now, life, this, life – it’s always here.

No matter how chaotic things seem, or how real all your stories feel, or how many problems or issues or whatever – life, the deep awesomeness of life that you are – that’s always here.

Being real is expressing that, it’s expressing who you are beneath all the stories and wants and yuck… allowing your undiluted core being to come up and flow in all its glory.

You don’t need anything to be you.

This is it. Right Now. This is life. Live it and let it flow. Unleash reality.

Today I have the pleasure of sharing with you an interview with my friend Ivan of IvanCampuzano.com, a popular personal development blog.

Ivan and I connected by Twitter a few months back and I must admit I really like his writing style and passion for helping people. I think you will enjoy what he has to say.

Having nearly 11,000 followers one of your strengths is connecting with people online. Care to elaborate?

Twitter has proven to be a great way to meet like minded people (It’s how I met you) and also a great learning tool. I choose to use twitter as a way to motivate and inspire my followers. One experience in particular, was when one of my followers @wrtheuer did a random act of kindness.

I happened to be on a coffee tour in Costa Rica, found out they had wireless internet, so I logged on to twitter on my ipod touch and gave a quick update. My follower then went online, found out where I was taking the tour, and gave them a call to purchase some chocolates and coffee for me. This let me know that even though you may not be aware, the work you do is not taken for granted.

What in your opinion, is the “secret” to true happiness and fulfillment?

This question is worthy of a book or at least a whole blog post. I’ll keep it short and sweet, ultimately you need to quit looking for happiness and fulfillment in your external reality. This is a search that will only yield momentary superficial moments of happiness and will never satisfy your innermost feelings of fulfillment.

You need to learn to turn inward (meditation), to go on an inner exploration of discovering your true nature. To get in tune with how you really work and how you make your decisions. Realize that your journey is a process, and assuming you have a sincere desire, you will yield quantum leaps in your personal growth. You will come to discover your natural gifts and purpose. You will come to understand and drop the beliefs that are causing you pain.

Learn to listen to your heart and follow it, but be prepared that it will also take you into what you perceive as wrong. This is life the only way you know what right is, is by experiencing the wrong. Too many people live their lives only by what other people or religion tell them is the right way to live. When living like this you are not able to move, because something wrong might happen. Anything that is not based on your experience, learn to accept it only hypothetically.

This is your life to explore, commit many mistakes all the while remembering only one thing: don’t commit the same mistake again. Live like this and you will be growing and gaining wisdom not borrowed from anyone. Long lasting happiness will only be found inside, so don’t wait any longer.

When did you discover your passion for personal development?

I guess I have always had a passion for personal growth. It has just evolved. For many years I accumulated large amounts of knowledge, but only recently have I been turning that knowledge into understanding. I was always the kid with immense curiosity and questioned everything.

What is your favorite post you’ve ever written. Why?

I don’t think I have a favorite. I just enjoy writing something that will cause someone to have a “click” happen inside them. To make them aware of something that they have always known, even if it was on an unconscious level. Something that will inspire someone to become self empowered.

Some posts I like:

How to create a new day and a new you

What’s the most important lesson you’ve ever learned?

To put my analytical mind aside and really listen to my heart. Learning to develop trust in myself and having the courage to go into the unknown.

In you your blog you often share your traveling experiences. How has this aided you in growing as a human being?

I love traveling and living in new countries because it forces you to expand by going into new unknown experiences. To venture off into the unknown is to jump into freedom. People say they want to be free, but freedom creates fear. They are afraid of the reality they know would make them feel truly alive and integrated with life.

Freedom and the unknown make people afraid because there is danger in insecurity. The danger lies in that they feel they are going to lose themselves, and lose everything they have ever known. They are right, but the only thing they are losing is their false sense of self (ego), living in the unknown your ego falls apart and the real you begins to emerge. This is why I enjoy living in new countries by myself; it ends up being an adventure of self discovery.

What are your plans for this blog and you as a person?

To simply grow and evolve, I am person who is passionate about learning and trying new things. I am constantly outgrowing old ways of thinking so my blog will be a reflection of my journey. All I hope to do is provide insights and ideas to help people grow. This is how I have chosen to contribute to the whole.

Thanks again Bud for having me on your great site. I wish you the best and I know you will keep growing and contributing in miraculous ways. Take care my friend.

Today I’m pleased to share with you an interview with my friend Glen Allsopp of PluginID. Glen is nothing short of sensational as he continually offers powerful and practical advice through his personal development blog. He is really down to earth and a fantastic guy to say the least. I know you will find this interview inspirational. Enjoy!

ME: What is your motivation to succeed day in and day out?

Glen: Up until about 2 months ago, my main motivation was, quite simply, to survive. I was able to quit my job in January 2009 and work full-time on my online projects. To ensure success in this area I worked about 15 hours per day, 7 days per week. I never planned on keeping this up forever; it was simply done to ensure that I could be in a position of financial abundance.

Right now, my motivation to succeed is to make the most of life. I make it clear to myself on a daily basis that this is the only life we have (some people don’t believe this, but it’s just my opinion) and there’s nothing more important than making your dreams a reality while you can. I think one of my best friends said it best: “This is it.”

ME: For those are aren’t familiar with your blog, what got you started on the online business path?

Glen: At 15 I started messing around with websites and one day decided to build a site based on one of my passions. At the time I was really into computers so built a site sharing some articles on how to increase the speed of your computer and that kind of thing. I put a link to Paypal (payment processor) on the site and just sat back, ready to tell all my friends how rich I was. Of course, nothing happened financially. I do chalk this experience down to a ‘bug’ I feel has been instilled in me to start working out why I didn’t succeed but more importantly, how I could in the future.

Since then I have made tens of thousands of dollars online, had a website featured in the book DJ’ing for Dummies and I’m set to make at least 6 figures next year.

ME: It is well known that you are a college drop out. How hard was this decision and what was your motivation to do so?

Glen: College, in the UK at least, usually lasts for two years. Because I wanted to do computer programming I had to go to a different college than all of my school friends, but I managed to fit in quickly and made friends with some awesome people. It was at this time though that a website I was running MyDJSpace (barely operational now) started to take off, and I really needed to spend as much time on it as possible.

After a year, it clearly showed I had spent too much time on it as my college attendance for the year was hovering around 50%. Not enough for them to consider me to go on to the next year. I decided to kick myself into gear and they allowed me to come back to college as long as I started the first year again. I finished the next year with some good grades which included an A in Law.

All of my friends were now leaving college because their two years were up, while I still had another year left to ‘make something’ of my education. It was in the summer break that I was offered my dream job – the opportunity to become the social media manager for the likes of Land Rover, Nissan and other large companies in Cape Town, South Africa.

Knowing that the internet was where I wanted to base my career, and that no college subjects really interested me long-term, I took the job and quit college. I can happily say it was by far the best decision of my life.

ME: Your online presence has become increasingly strong over the past few years, what three factors do you attribute your success too?

Glen: Good question! I have actually been fairly well known ‘online’ for a while due to my work in the internet marketing industry and the blog I run about that. More recently though I have started trying to make a name for myself in the Personal Development industry and as you say, increasing my presence.

I would say the first factor to my success would be that I’m real, I’m genuine. I don’t claim to be some multi-millionaire, I don’t claim to be a productivity guru or anything like that. Instead, I’m happy to highlight both my flaws and successes. Saying that I quit college actually offends a lot of people as most of us are socially conditioned to believe that college is the only way to get a good job and make a lot of money and I ‘go against’ their thinking.

Secondly, I would say that I interact. This probably shouldn’t, but it really bugs me when I see successful bloggers really distance themselves from their audience. Like how Steve Pavlina says he gives auto responses to certain emails or how some bloggers don’t take the time to reply to the questions of their commenters.Your blog is only successful because of them. People matter and I try my best to respond to 100+ emails per day, messages on Twitter, Facebook and that kind of thing. It can get a little overwhelming at times, but I feel it is worth it.

Number three would obviously have to be that I (or I like to think so) provide value. If I didn’t, there would be no reason for people to check out my websites or follow me around the social web. I actually spend 90% of my time on a site that makes 5% of my income and 10% of my time on my most profitable ventures. The reason for this is that providing value, to me, is nothing to do with the money and simply a way for me to ‘give back’ and do something meaningful with my life.

ME: What advice would you give to someone who is trying to live a life of passion and financial freedom?

Glen: I would share with them what I believe to be 4 simple steps to help in this area.

1. Have a message – What is it you want to share to the world? Do you want to write articles on productivity, teach golf lessons, give seminars, become a teacher?

Find out what it is you believe you can share with the world to offer value to people in some form. Once you know what it is, you just need to…

2. Have a medium – Your medium is simply your way of communicating this value. It could be on your own blog, it could be via videos on Youtube or it could be by becoming a school coach for a certain sport. Once you know what message you want to share, consider the options of how you are going to get it out there.

3. Stay Consistent – Nothing is going to happen for you dramatically overnight. It takes consistent work to get where you want to be. I sold my blog, PluginID (which now has over 3,000 subscribers) for $1,500 when it only had 350. I wasn’t happy with the ‘slow’ growth and decided to start another project. Then I realised that I’m just going to end up starting something else from scratch and that I had made a big mistake. Thankfully I was able to get the site back with a bit of bartering.

4. Network – There is probably someone out there who has achieved what you want to achieve. Who are they? How did they do it? What does their path to success look like? These are the things you need to know and should try to find out. Additionally, on your own road to success, don’t burn any bridges along the way – you never know when you might need the support of somebody to help you along.

ME: Anyone who has been reading your blog for a while knows you have had the wonderful opportunity to travel. How has this made you into the person you are today?

Glen: I have been to 11 countries now, my favourite probably being Vietnam (I have family there). I would definitely say that my 15 months in South Africa really changed me as a person though. When you live in the same place, you get sucked into a certain type of reality of how people should live, how you should behave and even what is possible in your situation.

I believe that going to another place for a lengthy period of time really helps to broaden your horizons and give you a more rounded view of what the world is really like. The Netherlands and South Africa are two of the most laid back countries in the world and they will really take you for surprise if you’ve been living in an active and hectic lifestyle. For this reason, I’m actually going to live in The Netherlands before the end of this year.

ME: One of the reasons your blog has become so successful is because your constant interaction with the readers and your honesty. Why do you think this has helped you so immensely?

Glen: I try to interact with people regularly as mentioned above. You have to respect the opinions of others and also their situation while trying to give your own input at the same time which can prove to be tricky. I have came to realise that you can’t please everyone, and certainly have a ‘type’ of reader who likes to visit my site.

If you stick to your guns (guns being your values) without feeling like you need to impose your beliefs on others then you’ll find that your audience is able to get a certain vibe from you and really connect with what you say.

ME: Thank you so much for your time.

Today I have special treat: an interview with my friend Vin Miller of Natural Bias

I came in contact with Vin through Online Profits a course we are both taking. I immediately resonated with his holistic view on health. Like many, Vin once struggled to live a healthy life, instead succumbing to the unhealthy habits of the Western World, but now lives a healthy life full of energy. I hope you enjoy the interview.

Me: NaturalBias is a blog that challenges it’s reader to live life as healthily as possible often suggesting concepts that go against main-stream beliefs. What inspired you to create NaturalBias?

Vin Miller: Most of my inspiration comes from the low standard of health that has unfortunately come to be accepted as normal. So many people are run down from overwhelming stress and poor nutrition that excellent health and normal health have come to mean two completely different things. As such, most people are living with a severely compromised quality of life and don’t even realize it.

I consider myself blessed to have experienced health issues at a relatively young age because it gave me the motivation necessary to look beyond the limits of mainstream health knowledge and gain a true understanding of optimal health. It didn’t take me long to find the world of holistic and natural health, and when I did, the concept of trusting nature and supporting your body’s innate ability to heal itself made complete sense to me. In fact, it seemed so obvious, simple and intelligent that it made me wonder how modern society has deviated so far from this common sense approach.

As I continued to research and learn, it became painfully obvious that many of the unhealthy influences and much of the misinformation that exists today are tied to corporate greed, and in some cases, even political corruption. Deeply frustrated by this blatant disregard for human life, I knew immediately that I had to do something to help people find sensible and truthful information about how to improve their lives through better health.

Me: Despite being fairly new your blog has shown a lot of promise and has seen a steady increase in traffic. What do you attribute your quick success to?

Vin Miller: Some of the factors that I believe have helped me get off to a good start include a strong passion for what I write about, a passion for writing itself, a technical background to help get the most of these passions, and a lot of hard work.

Because I enjoy writing and developing websites, blogging is an excellent medium for me to share my passion for natural health and help others improve their lives. While my technical background made it much easier for me to build a professional looking website and learn how to promote it, the passion that has driven me to learn as much as I can about natural health is definitely the most important factor. Without this passion, I wouldn’t be able to provide helpful information to my readers, and there wouldn’t be any incentive for them to visit my blog no matter how professional it looks or how well I promote it.

Despite my initial success, I know I still have a long way to go and look forward to the progress that lies ahead.

Me: Where do you see Natural Bias in 5 years time?

Vin Miller: To be honest, I don’t see Natural Bias being much different than it is now with the exception of having much more information to share and hopefully a much larger audience. I’m not looking to create an empire or make myself famous. I just want to continue learning and continue helping people by writing about it. That’s exactly what I’m already doing!

Me: What advice would you give to someone who wishes to transform their eating and exercising habits?

Vin Miller: Anyone looking to change their lifestyle should first be sure that they’re doing it for the right reasons. Too many people exercise and change their diets just to improve their appearance, and in my opinion, this is the wrong reason. To lose weight, most people will compromise their health by exercising excessively and starving themselves. While this may help them lose weight, it will eventually cause them to age faster and will increase their risk of developing disease. With this in mind, my advice to anyone wanting to lose weight is to put their health first by living a healthier lifestyle and allowing their excess body weight to come off naturally.

Consistently making healthy choices can require a lot of determination, particularly with the many unhealthy influences of modern society. Unfortunately, you have to go out of your way to find high quality food, avoid stress, get enough sleep, etc. If you don’t have a good understanding of the benefits of better health and don’t have a strong desire to achieve it, you simply won’t go through the trouble. Based on this, one of the most important pieces of advice I can offer someone looking to change their habits is to make sure they’re clear on why they want to do it.

Once someone is motivated to make some changes, two of the easiest things that can be done to improve their health and increase their energy is to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night and gradually eliminate sugars and refined carbohydrates from their diets. As simple as this may sound, many people are fighting fatigue each day as a result of their neglect for these two factors. To make matters worse, they usually compensate by consuming excessive amounts of sugar and caffeine.

Me: What are some of the healthiest food’s this world has to offer?

Vin Miller: In general, natural and organic whole foods that come from a tree, plant, or animal are the healthiest choices. Ideally, these foods should be eaten in a condition that resembles their original form as closely as possible and this means little or no processing and minimal cooking.

I’m hesitant to recommend particular foods because I’m a big believer in the idea that we each have unique nutritional needs. This belief is referred to as Metabolic Typing and explains why some people thrive on a high protein and fat diet while others thrive on a nearly vegetarian diet. Likewise, there are also many people who do awful on each of these diets. As such, natural and whole foods that are appropriate for the individual consuming them are the healthiest foods this world has to offer.

Depending on one’s Metabolic Type, some of the foods I consider to be most healthy include grass fed and free range meat, free range eggs, butter or ghee, most vegetables, fruits, raw nuts and oils such as coconut oil and olive oil.

Me: What are some of your favorite exercises?

Vin Miller: All of my favorite exercises are functional in nature which means that they resemble and support the basic human movement patterns that are an important part of all the physical activities we engage in from walking up and down stairs to high end athletic performance. The human body is designed to lunge, squat, bend, push, pull and twist, and for nearly anything we do, we’re required to move in a way that requires a combination of these patterns. Although we gain the ability to perform all of these movements at an early age, many adults lose their ability to perform them due to inactivity or improper exercise. As a result, they become more susceptible to pain and injury.

I tend to prefer exercises that train movement patterns as a whole and incorporate multiple joints. I also prefer free weights over machines because they allow for more freedom of movement and add an element of balance that helps to strengthen the small muscles that stabilize joints.

Although most people might not recognize all of them, some of my favorite exercises include trap bar deadlifts, front squats, single leg squats and weighted chin-ups. For people who are less experienced with resistance training, some of the exercises I like include lunges, single leg deadlifts and just about any rowing motion. In general, I like these exercises because they strengthen muscles that most people have neglected and improve function, posture, and resistance to injury.

In regard to cardiovascular exercise, I think intervals of short but intense bursts of activity are far superior to the long, slow and steady type of training that most people follow. Not only is this slow and steady style of training more of a burden on your body, but it also consumes much more time, and depending on your fitness goals, is also usually less effective.

Me: You said you once struggled with living a healthy life. When was your “A-Ha” moment?

Vin Miller: I first realized something was very wrong with the mainstream perception of normal health when I discovered that I was prone to hypoglycemia. This is a condition that results in dramatic drops in blood sugar after consuming sugar or excessive amounts of carbohydrates. As I would later learn, hypoglycemia is not necessarily a disorder in itself, but more a symptom of compromised health in general.

When I started researching about hypoglycemia, what I found was a long list of symptoms and problems that I was experiencing myself. This was the very first time that I realized that for quite some time, I’d been living with a severely compromised quality of life. Not only was I astonished that I’d gone so long without realizing it, but I was also extremely excited about the potential for improvement.

Although I had much more work ahead of me than I initially realized and was later diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, learning about hypoglycemia is what pushed me beyond the mainstream standards of a healthy lifestyle and inspired me to learn what good health is really about. Like many people who are misguided by mainstream misinformation, I thought I was already living a healthy lifestyle up until this point.

Me: Much of the Western World places great emphasis on treating the symptoms of disease rather than attempting to find the underlying cause. What is your take on this?

Vin Miller: I think the focus on treating symptoms is an unfortunate byproduct of the convenience driven and instant gratification mentality that modern society has cultivated in many of us. Many people disregard the need to live a healthy lifestyle because they assume that all their problems can be taken care of with a pill. The problem is that these people don’t fully understand the much better quality of life that they’re giving up and they accept the problems they’re bound to encounter as a normal part of aging. In reality, it’s often the decades of unhealthy habits that cause their problems, and relying on a pill to alleviate the symptoms is like pulling the fuse on a car’s check engine light instead of having it repaired. It’s only a matter of time before the problem grows and becomes more dangerous, possibly leading to major disease.

Having the desire to look beyond the symptom based approach of western medicine is often a matter of recognizing health as the foundation of happiness. Those who open their minds to this mentality are often amazed by how much they improve their lives as a result. However, regardless of what you tell them, some people will never accept this perspective. They’d rather live a life of indulgence and take the chance of living with pain and suffering during their later years. While I think this is a shame, life is about choices, and I respect their right to live this way.

Me: Thank you very much for your time.
